A collection of multi-genre short fiction written, edited, and selected by Campfire’s community. In Spring 2024, members of Campfire’s community on Discord entered into a competition to write a short story based on an assigned prompt. And now, those story seeds planted in the spring bloom as autumn nears. A barista who reads a fortune that changes his life. An old knight who goes on one last journey to lay his true love to rest. A colony-ship biologist who cultivates a remnant of the home they left behind. Enclosed are stories of epic beginnings, melancholic endings, and distinctive slices of life.
