The Age of Redemption is a small block of time within the long history of Eos. ". . . in darkness shalt thou conquer . . ." is the first novel in this series. The challenges, pain, victories, and rewards of this epic struggle begin here: The date is July 4th, 1347 of the Second Dawn. It has been almost three years since the assassination of King Rurik. The kingdom of Nordaka now exists in a state of disarray, ruled by a reckless and unworthy heir. Rurik's oldest surviving son, Aidan of Dredstoke, receives a cue from his Spirit Guide the time for action has come. The young knight must put himself at risk of falling victim to the royal purge that has reduced his family line to a thread, or refuse to honor the vow he made to his father as the good king lay dying. The sins of Aidan's many forebears now weigh heavily on his shoulders, as they have culminated in an ominous tempest that looms just ahead on the horizon. If Aidan ignores this coming chaos, or is cut down by the Reaper's scythe, he fates his people to a millennium of darkness. The task of making amends for his family's misdeeds is unwanted, unfair, and unending - but that task is his, and his alone.
